"A Song For Georgia 1" (in Georgian: "ის სიმღერა თითო საქართველო") is the first National Selection of Georgia which was held in order to find the next Georgian representant for the tenth edition of North Vision Song Contest.
System of the NS
First the participants of the National Selection were announced, their songs were published after the semifinals of NVSC #9. "A Song For Georgia" started the TBA.
The voting was like that: first GPB searched for four jury members which want to be a jury along with the Georgian jury. So NBU members were able to apply for a jury place. After the application deadline closed, the Georgian HoD Anton Gomer picked four random countries which were able to have an important role in the voting of "A Song For Georgia". Other NBU members or countries whose applications were declined would be able to vote as televoter.
These are the applications and in bold the accepted applications (the jury in the NS):
On the 21st August, the HoD Anton Gomer introduced a little change in the voting. Instead of 5 countries voting as jury, there are now 10 in total. The draw of the 5 additional countries has been completely random consisting of the 16 televoters to that moment. The five additional juries are France, Sweden, Israel, Czech Republic and Malta.
