"Alive" is a song by Danish DJ Kato and the elektro-pop duo Electric Lady Lab. It was released as the second single from Kato's third studio album, Behind Closed Doors. It was composed by Thomas Kato Vittrup, Lene Dissing, Peter Bjørnskov, Martin Bøge Pedersen, Stine Hjelm, Engelina Andrina Larsen, Richard Fairbrass, Rob Manzoli and Christopher Fairbrass.

The song was internally selected by the Danish broadcaster to represent Denmark in the first edition of the North Vision Song Contest. It reached the first place in the final and the second place in the final with 132 and 159 points respectively.

North Vision Song Contest[]

Kato and Electric Lady Lab were internally selected to represent Denmark in the first edition of Northvision. After they gave several songs to DR, the broadcaster, they decided that Alive would represent the country in the contest. Some days later their tour around Europe started with the first performance being in Denmark. The artists performed in more than thirty countries in order to promote their song.

After they were done with the tour, they started reheharsals in Hungary, where the contest would take place. After qualifying from the first semi-final with the first place they performed tenth in the grand final where they got the second place with 159 points, receiving 12 points from six countries.
