Billy Dans (born on February 14, 1991) is a Dutch rapper and singer / songwriter.


With a father like cafe owner grows purebred Amsterdam with beautiful songs from the Jordan of great musical examples like Johnny Jordaan, Willy Alberti, Tante Leen and André Hazes. Yet he himself chooses the torch, but he is already at a young age as a rapper to work. Gradually the language fast virtuoso develops an unerring sense for writing rake Dutch texts.

At eighteen Billy scored his first hit with childhood friend and lyricist Lyon Huijbrechts. The duo Lyon and Billy has with the number immediately Beyond addressing a massive YouTube hit, which in a very short time as many as four million times is viewed. Singer Glennis Grace invites them immediately to perform with her at the Jordan Festival. The second single "Nu Sta Ik Hier" achieves a number one hit in the charts of radio FunX.

Both solo and in collaboration Billy remains serious headway carpentry. In 2013 he was awarded with the catchy song "Droom Over Jou" (with GTST actor and singer Ferry Doedens) a number two hit in the Kids Top 20, and the number will be much downloaded through iTunes. Billy makes a big impression in the same year at the renowned Rose Gala Ernst Daniël Smid. The full proceeds of his sensitive single Jij Schijnt Naar Mij goes to the Foundation For Cancer Pain. This song is again a YouTube hit.
