North Vision Song Contest

Julie Berthelsen submitted "Butterfly" to the second edition of the Danish national selection after she was selected by the broadcaster to compete in the duels. In the duels, she competed against Emmelie de Forest (quarterfinals), Louise Dubel (semifinals) and The Storm (grand final). In the final, "Butterfly" won the duel against "Lost In The Fire", the song by the popular Danish band, The Storm. A few days after the song's victory it was revealed that no promotional tour is planned.

The song entered the Danish, Norwegian, British and Portuguese charts. However, comparing its chart performance with the previous Danish entries, it didn't do as well as them.

Julie performed sixth in the second semi-final. However, she didn't manage to make it to the grand final making it the first non-qualification of Denmark.
