"Dreaming Kind" is a song by Danish singer Hannah Schneider. It was released on 17 October 2014 as a single from her fourth studio album, Red Lines. The song is written and composed by Schneider along with two members of the Swedish band Violet Days, Kristoffer Eriksson and Lina Hansson, who represented Sweden in the same edition.
Hannah Schneider submitted the song in the thirteenth edition of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. On 24 January 2016, it was revealed that Hannah was among the selected acts while the song was revealed two days later, on 26 January 2016. After qualifying from the final to the super-final, the song managed to win the selection with over 4,000 votes ahead the runner-up.
As Denmark was part of the big 6, the song was already pre-qualified to the final. During the running order draw, the song was drawn to perform eleventh, following Belgium's "Fortune Cookie" and preceding Slovenia's "Nothing Left for Me". The song managed to get the fourteenth place in the final with 104 points, receiving 12 points from the Faroe Islands and Serbia.
