Fantasifestivalen 07 was the seventh edition of the Swedish music competition Fantasifestivalen that selected Sweden's entry for the North Vision Song Contest 7. Malena Ernman has emerged as the winner with her song "Perdus", after she previously represented Sweden in the third edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
The format of the competition consisted of six shows: four semi-final rounds, a second chance round and a final. The 32 competing entries were divided into four semi-finals, with eight compositions in each. From each semifinal, the songs that earned first and second place qualified directly to the final, while the songs that place third and fourth proceeded to the Second Chance round. The bottom four songs in each semifinal were eliminated from the competition. An additional two entries qualified from the Second Chance round to the final, bringing the total number of competing entries in the final to 10. All six shows were hosted by Pär Lernström and Kakan Hermansson.
Format[]
Fantasifestivalen 07, organised by Sveriges Television (SVT), was the seventh edition of the contest in which the competition took place in different cities across Sweden. The four semi-finals were held at the Kinnarps Arena in Jönköping (7 January 2014), the Scandinavium in Gothenburg (12 January 2014), the Swedbank Arena in Örnsköldsvik (15 January 2014) and the Läkerol Arena in Gävle (19 January 2014). The Second Chance round took place at the Rosvalla Nyköping Eventcenter in Nyköping (21 January 2014) while the final was held at the Friends Arena in Stockholm (31 January 2014). Thirty-two entries competed in the semi-finals, with eight entries taking part in each show. The top two entries from each semi-final advanced directly to the final, while the third and fourth placed entries advanced to the Second Chance round. The bottom four entries in each semi-final were eliminated. An additional two entries qualified to the final through duels from the Second Chance round, bringing the total number of competing entries in the final to ten.

Foreigner Final[]
It was announced, that a foreign act will compete in Fantasifestivalen for a second time. The entry would not be automatically qualified for the final this time. Musicians from all over the world had the chance to submit their songs to SVT from 18 November 2013 to 18 December 2013. They received 2,861 entries, from where SVT choose 15 to participate in one final. The winner got the chance to participate in Fantasifestivalen 07.

The Foreigner Final was held on 25 December 2013. The line-up was announced on 24 December 2013, including Erin, the finnish participant of North Vision Song Contest 4 and several known acts in Sweden such as Svetlana Bogdanova, Javiera Mena, Sandu Ciorba or Mind Vortex.
