New Broadcaster Logo

The original broadcaster was "EPT" but with problems concerning the stability with the government, the contract was signed to "Elliniki Teliorasi" an independent state broadcaster. After the non qualification in North Vision Song Contest 7, a new HoD took over and a brand new broadcaster NERIT (New Hellenic Radio, Internet and Television), (Greek: Νέα Ελληνική Ραδιοφωνία, Ίντερνετ και Τηλεόραση, abbrev. ΝΕΡΙΤ, NERIT) joined the NBU.After the 15th edition ERT was back as the greek broadcaster (Elliniki Radiofoniki Tileorasi) (Greek:Ελληνική Ραδιοφωνική Τηλεόραση, abbrev. ΕΡΤ,ΕRT).

Greece debuted within the first edition, they have appeared in the final seven times and achieved a top 10 placing three times, with Paola Foka and "Krata me" in North Vision Song Contest 3, with Eleni Foureira and "Anemos agapis" in North Vision Song Contest 8 and with Freaky Fortune and "Gi kai ouranos" in North Vision Song Contest 11. With a few more disappointing results. Despite that, the contest is still quite popular among the public. Greece achieved to be in Big 5 countries only once, in North Vision Song Contest 9.

After nine editions of no qualifications, Greece reached the final in the 22nd edition in Sofia, Bulgaria.
