Igor Stribiţchi is a member of the band "Akord", having its origin in Moldova. He is a known singer-songwriter from his country and has taken part in several shows and music competitions.

Since June 2010, the band was in the duet formula, composed by Igor Sîrbu and Igor Stribiţchi. In autumn 2010, the band released a new hit, the song ”Mă doare”. This song held the top positions for months on TV and radio charts. Two months later, the band launched a new hit "Cînd te visam", in collaboration with Cristina Croitoru. In 2011 Igor Stribiţchi and Igor Sîrbu had an eventful year. They appeared on the stage with Teleradio Moldova Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Gheorghe Mustea, in his 60 years anniversary show. Soon, the Maestro Eugen Doga has invited the band to his birthday concert.
