"In Love with the World" is a song by Danish singer-songwriter Aura Dione from her second studio album, Before the Dinosaurs. It was written by Dione and Rick Nowels and it was produced by Nowels and Devrim Karaoğlu.
The song impacted Danish radio on May 28, 2012 as the album's third single. The song is about the sacrifices Dione had to make to pursue her career, and "letting go of someone who loves me, because maybe he doesn't love me enough to let me be free".
Aura Dione along with Medina were selected to compete in the third edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. Each artist chose four songs to compete in the duels. Aura's song, "In Love with the World" went through the quarter-finals and finals and won the final duel against Medina's song "Har du glemt" with a margin over one thousand points. Following her victory, Aura started shooting the video clip for the song. Although all the Danish entrants had been in the North Vision in Concert, including Aura in her first participation, she decided not to do so this time.
Aura performed eleventh in the second semi-final where she got the first place with 97 points. In the grand final, Aura performed in the same position as in the semi-final, eleventh and with 116 points receiving high points from Romania and Armenia, Aura reached the eleventh place. Even though it's not the best result of the country, it is the best place since the country's victory in the fourth edition.
