Jordan Léser is an indie singer/pianist from Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Jordan Léser is a Sydney-based singer-songwriter whose songs are arrows aimed straight at the heart. Her sense of place is evocative, her gift for melody arresting, and her compositions reminiscent of some of her heroines – Kate Bush, Sinead O’Connor and Loreena Mckennitt. Jordan grew up in Byron Bay and has been writing songs since the age of 13. After finishing school she moved to Sydney where she began working with Midnight Oil’s drummer, Rob Hirst, and guitarist, Jim Moginie, on her debut album.

“As producers, our job was to shine the best light on Jordan’s darkly melodic, beautiful musical stories," Rob Hirst says. "It helped that Jordan is such a thoughtful, patient and exacting songwriter. ‘Berlin’ is a fine example of her work. A rhythmic piano accompanies a haunting vocal. Huge dynamic shifts occur with hard industrial drums giving way to gentle, airy grooves. Sparse verses surrender to unforgettable choruses. And always, right in the middle of the sonic storm, is that voice, the piano and the words.”

Jordan's debut EP is called 'Just Like Autumn'.
