Julie Bergan (born 12 April 1994 in Skien, Telemark) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter.



In September 2013, she was signed by Warner Music Norway. In early 2014, she released her first single, "Younger".

After the release of her single she wrote and release a number of songs, but it was first after the release of her single "Arigato" she became known beyond national borders. The song reached 5th in official Swedish charts, and got nominated at the Norwegian Grammys 2016 for "Song of the Year".

North Vision Song Contest

North Vision Song Contest 6

Julie participated with Cir.Cuz in the Norwegian National Selection "Den Norsken Sangen 03" with the song "Supernova" and won the first place against other 9 songs. That means, that they would represent Norway in North Vision Song Contest 6, in Lebanon.

Cir.Cuz and Julie participated in the second semifinal of 30th December. They perfomed twentieth and took the fifth place with 91 points, therefore qualifying to the final. On the final of the 6th January, "Supernova" performed first. The final place was the ninetienth with ninety-four points recieving the highest number of points from Estonia (10 points).

North Vision Song Contest 8

Julie Bergan participated in the fifth edition of Den Norsken Sangen, trying to represent Norway in the North Vision Song Contest 8 with the song "Younger". She won the selection with 174 points and therefore got the right to represent Norway in North Vision Song Contest 8.

The song participated in the first semifinal of North Vision Song Contest 8, ended 2nd with 112 points and qualified therefore to the final. There, it came 1st with 187 points receiving the highest points from Moldova, United Kingdom, Latvia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Poland and Lithuania.

North Vision Song Contest 22

Julie returned to the national selection and won it for the third time, therefore representing Norway in the North Vision Song Contest 22 in Sofia, Bulgaria with the song "Blackout".
