Accepted in 1st place in the Pop and Jazz Singing Department of the National Academy of Music “Pancho Vladigerov”, Krista graduated from it with honours in June 2008. With her first appearances on the music scene, Kirsta has earned the unprecedented admiration of some of the greatest authorities in the Bulgarian music industry, music critics and audience.

Krista has received numerous awards from prestigious festivals and competitions, including the Best young pop artist of 2008 scholarship from the National Opera and Ballet Foundation and the Best Debut Award from the Bulgarian National Radio competition for new Bulgarian pop and rock music Golden Spring 2009.

In 2012 Krista received the special award of the Bulgarian National Radio “Golden Spring” contest. She became the first solo artist to represent Bulgaria at the prestigious festival Eurosonic in Groningen, The Netherlands. The young singer performed at the festival in the beginning of 2013.

Krista’s debut video single “Tova, koeto iskash”/”Runnin’” (music, lyrics and arrangement – SYMPHONICS, director of the video – Vallery Millev) had a tremendous success, reaching top positions in all TV and radio charts in Bulgaria. Furthermore, it stayed in MTV’s World Chart Express for two consecutive weeks, reaching the 2nd place. “Imam” (I Have) premiered in 2009. The song is written by B.O.Y.A.N. and Magga, and the video is directed by Nikolay Nankov. Krista presented a different acoustic version of the song during the concert celebrating BG Radio’s 10th anniversary in front of an audience of 20,000 at the Batenberg Square, Sofia. “Za teb” (For you), Krista’s next single, has the characteristic club sound of Krista’s debut album. “Za teb” is written by the young singer/songwriter Rachel Row, B.O.Y.A.N. and Strahil Velchev. The video is directed by Valeri Milev and the choreography is created by the top Bulgarian choreographer and dancer Milen Dankov for Millenium Dance Zone.

Krista’s latest single “Silna Lyubov” (Stron love) features the Bulgarian hip-hop titan Spens. The song debuted at the end of 2012. The video is directed by the talented Pavlin Ivanov – Bashmotion and presents Krista in a new and interesting look. “Silna lyubov” is written by Bobo and B.O.Y.A.N.
