The Migros Ensemble is a Swiss music project which collected, end of 2014 with a single release, money for charity.
Background[]
The pre-Christmas project was initiated following the example of Band Aid of the Swiss retail chain Migros. There 23 performers were recovered from various parts of the country, recorded the song together "Ensemble" (French for together). The drafted in the three national languages French, German and Italian song was written by Georg Schlunegger belonging to HitMill team of Roman Camenzind. Schlunegger and Camenzind together produced the recording. The rotated in the Swiss Alps video was first aired on November 21, 2014 Television and released the song then in the download stores. It debuted at number one on the Swiss singles chart on 30 November. The proceeds will go in equal shares to four national charities: Swiss winter relief, Heks, Caritas and Pro Juventute. The proceeds from the song and the accompanying sales fundraiser doubling of the retail companies (capped at a total of 1 million Swiss francs).
