Norway participated in the North Vision Song Contest 13 in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Norwegian entry was selected through the national competition Den Norsken Sangen 10, organised by the Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK). Norway was represented by the song "Holde rundt deg" performed by Katastrofe, being only the second song in the history of the contest sung in the Norwegian language. The entry was automatically qualified and it got the 16th place in the final with 103 points.
On January 19, 2015, NRK confirmed the participation in the next North Vision Song Contest announcing along with this the tenth edition of Den Norsken Sangen to select the thirteenth Norwegian entry. 211 (from 234 last edition) entries were submitted with a jury of 5 people from music companies in Norway having to shorten them into 10. No foreign act was once again participating, making it clear that NRK looks only for native talents in the next editions.
NRK set a poll in order to let the public decide if the format should be changed and on January 24, 2015 the national selection returned to its old format with one single final after getting voted by the 44.12% of the voters. 32.35% voted for the format that was used in the last four editions and 23.53% voted for a brand new format including 2 semi-finals before a big final.
NRK announced the dates of the songs presentation on 24th January 2015; the first act would be revealed on 26th January 2015 and the last on 4th February 2015. The final started on 8th February 2015 with the voting lasting about three weeks. The results were announced on 2nd March 2015 with every country having a spokesperson to announce its votes and the scoreboard making its return.

On 28th February 2015, during the allocation draw, Norway was drawn to vote in the first semi-final. On 12th March 2015, the running order draw took place in Tel Aviv and Norway was drawn to perform 22nd in the Grand Final after being automatically qualified due to last edition's fourth place and therefore being member of the 'Big 5'.
Norway finally finished 16th, tied with Estonia, recieving 103 points with Poland giving their 12 points to Katastrofe. He said after the results that participating in the North Vision Song Contest was an amazing experience and he seemed satisfied with the Norwegian result.
Norway had to vote in the first semi-final. In the final, Norway announced their votes as 7th.

In Norway, the semi-finals and final were aired on NRK1, with commentary by Olav Viksmo Slettan while Silje Reiten Nordnes served as the radio commentator. The Norwegian spokesperson in the grand final was Nora Jabri, runner-up of Den Norsken Sangen 10.
