Samanta Poljakova mostly known by her stage name Samanta Tīna is a Latvian singer. Her career started when in 2010 she won a talent show O!Kartes akadēmija and she got the chance to study at Tech Music School in London, United Kingdom. In 2011 she competed in a Moldovan singing competition, called Golden Voices and she won the Moldovan Cup. In 2012 She competed in the Slavianski Bazaar, She ended up at the second place on the final day with 197 points, and the winner was Boban Mojsovski with 199 points.

She has many attempts to enter this contest representing her country, Latvia though she didn't got the chance to win, as she usually ends up at the second place mostly...
Northvision Song Contest[]
She represented Latvia three times(twice in a row) Sadly she couldn't make it to the Grand Finals with any of her entries. But with her song: Stay she got the 11th place with only 1 point difference between her and the 10th country. She has always been involved with anything that Latvia did in the contest, as she is always seen in the selections or she is the spokesperson(she were the spokesperson twice too)
