Stine Bramsen Simonsen (born on December 13, 1996 in Ry, Denmark) commonly known as just Stine Bramsen is a Danish singer and songwriter who is best known as the lead singer of the pop group Alphabeat since 2004.

Career[]

Apart from working with Alphabeat, Stine has also been involved as a featured artist in singles from Morten Hampenberg & Alexander Brown and the rock band Carpark North.

She has also sung the theme song "Good Times" for the fourth season of the sketch show Live from Bremen. In 2011 she collaborated with the house producer duo Morten Hampenberg and Alexander Brown for the hit single "I Want You (To Want Me Back)".

On September 24, 2013 Stine announced that she is would concentrate on a solo career. At the same time she revealed that the band Alphabeat would continue making music, but it's going to be on on hiatus while she was working on her new solo album, which was scheduled for publication in 2014. On January 17, 2014, she released her first solo single "Prototypical" written in collaboration with Nicolaj Rasted. She later released two more singles: "Move Forward" and "The Day You Leave Me". In 2015, she released her fourth solo single, "Karma Town". Her EP entitled Stine Bramsen was also released that year and included the four singles she released earlier.

Stine participated three times in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, the Danish national selection. She took part in the first edition along with Morten Hampenberg and Alexander Brown with the song "I Want You (To Want Be Back)" which placed fifth in the semi-final and did not manage to qualify to the final. She also competed in the seventh edition with Carpark North and the song "32" which placed fifth out of ten participants.

Stine auditioned for the tenth edition and managed to advance to the auditions stage of the edition. After performing "Say Heaven, Say Hell" for the juries, she managed to make it to the live shows. During the live shows, she performed her song "Karma Town" which eventually managed to win the edition with 35.47% of the votes and therefore represented Denmark in the fifteenth edition.
