The song was selected internally by the UK NVSC team. The artist chosen was previous X Factor competitor Ella Henderson, who had competed in the national selection before. The UK chose her to compete in the contest with her song Mirror Man.
At North Vision[]
In the Semi-Final, Ella did a great performance with much high-expectation. She finished qualified in 2nd place.
She carried on with her excellent achievement, finishing the contest in 3rd place with 163 points.
The winning country was, for a third time, Denmark.
