United Kingdom participated in the ninth edition of the North Vision Song Contest which took part in Oslo.

Before North Vision

The song was selected via a National Selection Battle for Britain 4.

The winning song was Cher Lloyd with her song "Sirens".

At North Vision

In the Semi-Final, Cher performed fourth in the first semi-final. However, this did not phase the voting as she was eventually announced as finishing first place in the Semi-Final.

In the grand final, she went on to deliver further success to the UK's NVSC history, by finishing second place.

The winning country was the host nation Norway.
