Valravn (translated: "Raven of the dead") is a Danish folk band which became popular for their new interpretations of traditional Danish, Icelandic and Faroese songs. Anna Katrin Egilstrøð (front singer) is from the Faroe Islands, Juan Pino (instrumentalist) has his origins in Ecuador and Christopher Juul (instrumentalist) comes from Denmark.

After confirming for the first edition of Rising Star Føroyar, the band was selected as the official representants of the Faroe Islands in the North Vision Song Contest 11 in Ukraine with their song "Koder på snor".
